As much as I love summer, and living on the beach!
I always look forward to September.
I’m excited to clean up the studio,
get organized, and get back into a work mode.
A throw back from the “back to school” days, I guess.
(I vacuumed and ordered all new brushes today!)
The Grotto

Our house at the beach is a Mid Century Modern,
upside down, deck house.
Of course, the entire design focusses on geometric shapes;
rectangles, squares, and the movement of the light.
This is the entrance to the “lower level”.
It’s a magical place to be and has influenced many of my
current paintings.
I’m looking forward to the change of season
and all the new subject matter, inspiration, and ideas it will bring.
